NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 15, 2014) - B&H Photo is proud to announce the official release of three PowerShot digital cameras from Canon: the 20.2MP G7 X with 1" sensor, the long zoom SX60 HS, and compact N2.

PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera

The PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera creates a new tier in the Canon point-and-shoot lineup, sandwiched between the G16 and the GX 1 Mark II. It combines a 20.2MP 1" High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor with a DIGIC 6 Image Processor &to produce high quality still imagery and record full HD 1080p video at 60 fps. Its low-light sensitivity extends to ISO 12800, which when combined with the lens's maximum aperture range of f/1.8-2.8 allows you to capably shoot in low-light situations. A 4.2x optical zoom lens provides an equivalent focal range of 24-100mm, and has built-in Intelligent Image Stabilization (IS). High-Speed AF enables a top focusing speed of 0.14 sec, and 31 AF points allow for quick and precise focus. With no buffer time, the G7 X can shoot 6.5fps continuously at full resolution. Additionally, a built-in ND filter allows you to shoot with wider apertures in bright conditions.

A multi-angle 3" LCD folds up 180° so that you can see it while composing self-portraits. And for improved handling, a control ring, exposure dial, and mode dial permit intuitive manual adjustments; while built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC and a Mobile Device Connect Button let you quickly pair your camera to compatible devices.

PowerShot SX60 HS Digital Camera

The new PowerShot SX60 HS Digital Camera is an upgrade to the SX50 HS, utilizing a 16.1MP 1/2.3" High-Sensitivity Sensor and a DIGIC 6 Image Processor instead of the 12.1MP and DIGIC 5 of the SX50. Its focal range has also been improved; with a 65x optical zoom, the SX60 has a 35mm-equivalent focal range of 21-1365mm, compared to the SX50's 24-1200mm range. The SX60 even includes a microphone input, a first for Canon PowerShots, as well as a dedicated movie button for recording Full HD 1080p video at 60 fps. UltraSonic and Voice Coil Motors allow for quick, near-silent autofocus and zooming while Zoom Framing Assist helps to track and capture subjects by zooming in and out automatically. Also, High-Speed AF enables quick and precise focus, and the SX60 can shoot 6.4fps continuously at full resolution with no buffer time.

The 3" Vari-Angle LCD folds out and rotates for assistance while working at odd angles and for composing self-portraits. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC and a Mobile Device Connect Button are included to let you quickly pair your camera to compatible devices.

PowerShot N2 Digital Camera

The Canon PowerShot N2 Digital Camera replaces the N, and upgrades the line to a 16.1MP 1/2.3" High-Sensitivity Sensor and DIGIC 6 Image Processor. It also uses the same 8x optical zoom lens as the N, which has a 35mm-equivalent focal range of 28-224mm and built-in Intelligent IS.

A 2.8" LCD touchscreen folds up 180° so that you can see it while composing self-portraits, and a control ring on the front of the camera triggers the shutter and controls the zoom for both stills and Full HD 1080p video. There is also built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity allow you to easily transfer files to compatible devices, and a Mobile Device Connect Button allows for one touch connection to your smartphone or tablet.

The Canon N2 can utilize a Creative Shot mode to create unique images with artistic filters, and an advance movie shooting feature automatically combines slow-motion and quick-motion movies with various filters. The N2 camera is available in White or Black.
