Canstar Resources Receives Assay Data for the Shrimp Lake and Tahoe Lake Projects, Northwestern Ontario; Mary March Project Update

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 20, 2007) - The Directors of Canstar Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ROX) would like to announce that assay results have been received for the recently completed first-phase drilling program on the Shrimp Lake and Tahoe Lake properties. Numerous base and precious metal anomalous samples were identified in the drill core, with individual highs of 0.6g/t gold and 0.87% zinc. The results indicate potential for economic-grade mineralization within the volcanic package. A total of ten holes, totaling over 1100m, were drilled during the program, with nine holes on the Shrimp Lake property and one hole in the Tahoe Lake property area. Further interpretation of the results, including correlation with geophysical data and geology, is required before a decision for future exploration programs will be made.
