Canstruction® Calgary is an amazing competition using canned food and other non-perishable items as building blocks. Teams create extraordinary structures, which are judged, exhibited to the public and then de-canstructed, with all food going to the Calgary Food Bank. In its first six years, Canstruction® Calgary has donated almost $600,000 in food and funds.
Presented in an exciting new venue this year - Calgary's new Science Centre, TELUS Spark - the 7th annual Canstruction® Calgary is shaping up to be the best year yet with 15 teams of architects, engineers and a record number of students mentored by these professionals, competing to produce the most out-of-this-world structure.
