Cantronic Systems Reports 46% Growth in the Second Quarter

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 3, 2005) - Cantronic Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CTS) the security industry's leading supplier of infrared thermal and active-infrared night vision surveillance equipment, today reported record revenues for the three and six-month periods ended July 31, 2005.

For the Company's second quarter of fiscal 2006, revenues increased 46% to $610,462 as compared to $418,902 for the same quarter last year. A net loss of $134,667 was recorded for the quarter-ended July 31, 2005 as compared to a net loss of $26,483 for the quarter end July 31, 2004. The loss per share was $0.004 as compared to $0.005 for the same period.

For the six months, ended July 31, 2005 revenues were $1,647,276 an increase of 27%, over revenues of $1,297,128 for the six months ended July 31, 2004.
