Capella Announces Resignation of Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 11, 2009) - CAPELLA RESOURCES LTD. (TSX VENTURE:KPS)(PINK SHEETS:CPSJF) ("Capella" or the "Company") announces that Dr. Amer Smailbegovic, a director of the Company, resigned effective May 8, 2009, in order to pursue other opportunities. Dr. Smailbegovic will continue to act as a consultant for the Company. The Board of Directors wishes to express its appreciation to Dr. Smailbegovic for his efforts and contributions to the Company and wish him well in his future business endeavours.

Capella Resources Ltd. is a publicly traded, junior exploration and mineral development company with a strong portfolio of precious and base metal projects in Chile, USA and Atlantic Canada.
