Capital Insight Partners Appoints Jian (Daniel) Fang to Manage Its China Investor Relations Division
CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - August 18, 2008) - Capital Insight Partners added Jian (Daniel)
Fang to manage its newly created division focusing on publicly traded
China-based companies that wish to improve communication and awareness with
U.S.-based investors.
Fang, a native of Shanghai, will play a critical role in aiding CIP's
effort to develop business relationships throughout China as well as
helping Chinese companies disseminate the appropriate messages about their
business model, strategy, valuation and prospects to the global investment
community.
"There is a clear growing trend of small publicly traded China-based
companies that are in technical fields doing business globally," said Jacob
Eisen, president of CIP. "Daniel's extensive background in hydraulic and
civil engineering will be of particular benefit to the growing number of
Chinese companies helping develop the country's infrastructure. His
insights on the specific needs and practices of China's business community
through his family business involvement will benefit all CIP China-based
clients."
Fang earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree in hydraulic
engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing before immigrating to the
United States to continue his education. He was hired as a research
assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned another
master's in civil engineering, specializing in transportation.
Since earning his degree at Georgia Tech, Fang has worked as a project
manager for a Savannah, GA engineering firm, overseeing residential,
commercial and industrial property development.
Fang found his interests leaning toward the investment and finance industry
and has decided to put his analytical skills to use in finance. He is
currently pursuing a master's in Financial Mathematics at the University of
Chicago. He is also in the process of becoming a Chartered Financial
Analyst.
