CAPREIT Announces Increase in Monthly Cash Distributions


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 25, 2016) - Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust ("CAPREIT") (TSX:CAR.UN) announced today that its Board of Trustees had approved a 2.5% increase in monthly cash distributions to $0.1042 per Unit, or $1.25 per Unit on an annualized basis. The increase effective with the June 2016 distribution payable on July 15, 2016 to Unitholders of record as at June 30, 2016.
