Carbon Manna Unlimited to Present at Kenyan Business Conference

Carbon Manna(C) Debuts on Multiple Social Media Sites Including Twitter and LinkedIn

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - August 19, 2009) - Carbon Manna Unlimited, an international non-profit standards-setting organization implementing the world's first highly-scalable, cell-phone-based Micro-PROFIT-Sharing system in Kenya, announced today its presentation at the Kenyan Diaspora International Conference to be held August 20-22 in Atlanta, Georgia. David Palella, Founder of Carbon Manna Unlimited, will give a talk titled: "First Cell-Phone-Based Carbon Micro Credits Implementation in Kenya."

"Inviting David Palella to present side by side with top-level Kenyan government and business leaders is testimony to the rapid acceptance of the Carbon Manna© concept," said Thomas Ichim, a board member of Carbon Manna Unlimited. He continued, "This is not a major surprise however given that Carbon Manna© is the first novel, non-debt-based and universally-applicable form of microfinance to be developed since 1983."

The Carbon Manna© system employs mobile phones, SMS (short message service) and unique stove identifiers that will allow millions of families in the Developing World to claim and monetize on a monthly basis the micro carbon offsets they produce by utilizing more efficient cooking methods such as modern charcoal or wood stoves, instead of using an inefficient 3-stone fire burning excessive non-renewable biomass. As a result, each family becomes a micro-PROFIT center and is able to monetize directly its own contribution to mitigating global climate change, while also slowing regional deforestation.

Carbon Manna Unlimited is also pleased to announce its debut on various social media sites and extensive updates to its web site:
