Carbon Promotes From Within and Continues to Grow With Fresh Talent

PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwire - May 5, 2009) - Carbon, a CommonHealth professional
advertising and promotion agency created to serve the marketing needs of
emerging pharma and specialty brands, today announced six promotions and
three new hires.

Promotions
Mike Brune, a CommonHealth veteran of 13 years, has been promoted to senior
vice president, creative director, copy. In his new post, Mr. Brune will
supervise his creative teams, ensuring all copy meets client expectations
for quality and consistency. He will also provide strategic insights and
innovative concepts for his assigned brands.
With Carbon for three years, Anne Squadrito has been elevated to vice
president, group creative director from her prior rank of vice president,
associate creative director. Ms. Squadrito will manage and motivate the
creative teams, as well as focus on the cultivation of new business.
Also with the agency three years, Jim Lothrop has advanced to group art
supervisor from art supervisor. He will manage the creative workflow on all
of his designated projects. Mr. Lothrop will also continue to conceptualize
new campaign and marketing initiatives for Carbon's clients.
Alyson Romanelli has been promoted from account supervisor to account group
supervisor. As such, she will be responsible for the day-to-day activities
of her accounts and is also charged with providing strategic and tactical
insights for her team. Ms. Romanelli has been with Carbon for three years.
Both approaching four years with CommonHealth, Michael Koch and Paul Triolo
have each been promoted from assistant account executive to account
executive. They will manage the daily responsibilities for their allocated
accounts, guiding the successful implementation of brand marketing
initiatives while maintaining client relations.
New Hires
Nicholas SanPhilip has joined Carbon as a senior account executive. As
such, he will oversee all day-to-day responsibilities and operations for
his assigned brands, ensuring clients' needs are met. Before joining the
company, Mr. SanPhilip was employed as senior account executive at The
Harrington Group, an advertising agency in Morristown.
Christelle Jerome and Shawn Mattison join the Carbon team as account
coordinators. Both are charged with routing jobs through the agency from
inception through completion, and monitoring project budgets and timelines.
Prior to joining the agency, Ms. Mattison was employed as a substitute
teacher for Newark Public Schools and Ms. Jerome interned in the marketing
department of McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond, a CPA firm located in Hunt
Valley, Maryland.
