Carbon Sciences to Unveil Mobile Prototype in January

Prototype Will Demonstrate the Company's Breakthrough Technology to Help Reduce Global Warming

SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwire - December 6, 2007) - Carbon Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB: CABN), the developer of a breakthrough technology to transform earth destroying carbon dioxide (CO2) into earth friendly carbon products, today announced that the development of its Mobile Prototype is on schedule to be completed in January 2008.

The Mobile Prototype will be installed in a lab truck that can be driven on tour to support the Company's public awareness and business development initiatives. It will demonstrate the Carbon Sciences GreenCarbon™ Technology for converting harmful CO2 into useful carbonate products for use in building materials, paper, plastics, fertilizers and other industrial applications.

The Mobile Prototype is line with Phase I of the Company's product development plan announced in October 2008.

Phase I: GreenCarbon Mobile Prototype -- A prototype system for concept demonstration and chemistry optimization.

Phase II: GreenCarbon Mini-Pilot System -- Complete small scale system for field test and scalability optimization.

Phase III: GreenCarbon Pilot Plant -- Commercial system for use by coal-fired power plants and other large CO2 emitters.

Elaborating on the Mobile Prototype initiative, the Company's CEO, Derek McLeish, said, "We are very excited about the opportunity to present a real-life demonstration of our carbon transformation technology. In January, the Mobile Prototype will be driven on tour as part of our public awareness and business development strategy. The Mobile Prototype will be operational and allow us to mix abundantly available rock minerals with CO2 and transform them into a stable carbonate powder. The last step will be to press the carbonate powder into a piece of writing chalk, thereby completing the process of transforming earth destroying CO2 into a product that can be used in a school room."

"The business of reducing global warming is real, and the time to commercialize our innovative technology couldn't be better. This trend is observed in the United Nations Climate Change conference in Bali (December 3 - 14), calling for tangible technology investments to reduce global warming. The primary solution recommended by large CO2 emitters, such as power plants and factories, is to bury CO2 in underground caverns and the ocean floor -- a process known as carbon storage or sequestration. Fundamentally, we believe that underground carbon storage is a dangerous solution and will leave a ticking time bomb for future generations to address. Carbon transformation is the right solution."
