Cardiac Network Inc. Partners With Tierra Technology to Provide IT Infrastructure

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - August 23, 2007) - Cardiac Network Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CNWI) today announced that they partnered with Tierra Technologies to provide the IT Infrastructure for its state-of-the-art Patient Monitoring Center in San Francisco and its HeartLine Monitoring Service.

Tierra Technologies will provide full in-house support for the monitoring center. Tierra will setup and monitor all servers so that there is no downtime for patients. Servers can be set up to withstand an unlimited amount of calls per day. The net effect is that cardiac patients and doctors across the country will never have a busy signal.

Tierra customers are provided with important value-added services. Tierra has invested thousands in a software platform that automates processes which are much more cumbersome for other technicians. These services include: backup mail spooling, systems and network monitoring, software setup, task automation, anywhere remote control, ticket tracking, software updates and effectiveness reporting.

Since 2000, Tierra has provided clients with consistent On-Call Support at a fraction of the cost of hiring IT staff. Tierra offers the optimal balance between On-Call Support and fully Managed Service IT models.

With the importance of Cardiac Network's clients, Cardiac Network will also have in-house Tierra professionals to handle any issue that may arise.

"Our business is such that any downtime can affect potentially millions of lives; we needed to partner with an IT company that can handle our business model. We believe that Tierra Technologies offered us the best portfolio of services for our clients," stated Mr. Zev Helfer, President and CEO of Cardiac Network Inc.

"To further ensure that we deliver the best possible care for Cardiac patients across America, we will have a full in-house team monitor our potentially unlimited capacity monitoring center," added Mr. Helfer.

Cardiovascular disease and coronary heart disease are widespread, afflicting over 70 million people. Heart attacks are the single biggest killer in the United States alone. Each year, about 1.1 million Americans suffer a heart attack. About 460,000 of those heart attacks are fatal. Those figures could change dramatically if those people got to a hospital as fast as possible when a heart attack first happened.
