CarDomain.com Launches Autoholics.com, Providing Instant Blogging Tools to Automotive Enthusiasts

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 6, 2010) - CarDomain.com, the ultimate social networking site for car lovers, today announces the launch of Autoholics.com (http://autoholics.com), an exciting new community blogging site. Autoholics provides a unique venue where anyone who is an automotive enthusiast with a CarDomain profile can blog about their project cars, car show and motorsports involvement, parts installation tutorials, and new products, and post automotive news and videos from around the world.

The user-generated blog and newsfeed is created by and for the CarDomain.com community. Contributions are selected and edited by Autoholics' professional editorial staff before being published to the site. Since going live at the end of October, Autoholics has published over 300 posts by more than 60 CarDomain members, with contributors coming from the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia and the Philippines, among other countries.

"Autoholics contributions are varied and lively, just like our members," said Glenn Rogers, CEO, CarDomain. "The content makes for interesting reading -- ranging from a few words and a video to feature-length articles and excellent photo galleries. The material reflects our members' broad interests and it's great to provide a place where they can easily publish stories on topics that move them."

Because of the diversity of knowledge and background represented within the CarDomain membership, Autoholics content is unique in the automotive space, and departs sharply from standard online automotive news and editorial content.

"Gearheads always want to talk with other gearheads," says Rob Einaudi, editor-in-chief. "Autoholics provides a great way for CarDomain members to connect, show off, and reach a sizeable online audience with their expertise and experiences. Autoholics contributions have ramped up very quickly, and the community seems to be taking to this new outlet for sharing news and knowledge and connecting with other enthusiasts."

In addition to polishing and publishing user-generated content, the Autoholics editorial staff has contributed extensive exclusive coverage of the 2010 SEMA Show, the LA International Auto Show, and new vehicle test-drive reviews. The new site can be viewed here: http://autoholics.com/
