CareerBoard Launches Job Board to Connect San Francisco Job Seekers With San Francisco Employers

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - March 3, 2010) - announced today the addition of to their online network of 47 local job boards

"San Francisco's strength in the electronics and biotechnology industries along with their reputation as the banking capital of the West Coast, made it an ideal market to launch our newest job board," explains CareerBoard's President, Peter Tuttle. features jobs in San Francisco, Fremont, Oakland and the surrounding areas.

CareerBoard differentiates itself by offering cost effective alternatives to traditional 30-day advertisements including 7-day job postings and a Pay for Performance pricing option.

The 7-day job posting was developed in response to the results of a study that concluded 70% of applications occurred within the first week of a position being posted. "We give employers the flexibility to control their costs by advertising for a shorter period of time without significantly reducing candidate response," stated Tuttle.

CareerBoard's Pay for Performance (P4P) product enables employers to post jobs for free and only pay for qualified applications. Employers build a "qualified candidate profile" through a series of filtering questions and their cost per applicant is calculated from the number and depth of the filtering questions selected and the hiring salary.

"While the majority of hires will come from the local market, we also understand the occasional need to recruit outside of the area. It was important for us to develop a system in which employers can post their jobs locally, regionally or nationally and manage their talent from one centralized area," stated Tuttle.

CareerBoard also recently launched local employment websites in Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, and San Diego.
