CareerBoard.com Expands Services Nationwide With the Launch of 21 Local Job Boards

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - May 25, 2010) -  CareerBoard.com announced today the launch of 21 local job boards. This is the second major expansion announcement by the employment website this year. In February, CareerBoard announced the launch of 35 local sites.

As a result of the recent expansion, CareerBoard now operates 68 local job boards across the Continental US. New sites added to the network include: Austin.CareerBoard.com, Wilmington.CareerBoard.com, Kentucky.CareerBoard.com and Tennessee.CareerBoard.com

Commenting on the expansion, Peter Tuttle, President of CareerBoard.com said, "Expanding our 'Local Jobs, Local Talent' model to employers and job seekers across the US has been our mission since the launch of Cleveland.CareerBoard.com in 1997. We know most employers will fill their openings with people who live in their area and similarly, the majority of job seekers look for work close to where they live. Employers and job seekers in every major US city now have access to a local CareerBoard job site."

Through a single login, Employers can post jobs for 7-days or 28-days to any of CareerBoard's local sites. Jobs requiring exposure outside of the local area can be advertised on multiple sites or nationwide for an additional charge. 7-day job postings start at $50.

Likewise, job seekers can search and apply for jobs close to home or anywhere in the US from their local job site. Services are free to job seekers.

"While the US job market has yet to demonstrate consistent growth, we are very confident in the long term and have faith the US economy will rebound, igniting the US local market job engine," Tuttle concluded.
