Caribou Retains Market Making Services of Venture Liquidity Providers/Announces New CFO


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 4, 2011) - CARIBOU COPPER RESOURCES LTD. ("Caribou Copper" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CKR) announces that, subject to regulatory approval, it has retained J.C. Cunningham of Venture Liquidity Providers (VLP), effective immediately. VLP is a Canadian consulting firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada. It has been agreed that VLP will initiate its market making service to provide assistance in maintaining an orderly trading market of the Company's common shares. The market making service will be undertaken by VLP through a registered broker, W.D. Latimer Co. Ltd., in compliance with the guidelines set out in Policy 3.4 of the TSX Venture Exchange Corporate Finance Manual. The agreement is for a 12-month period, will automatically renew for additional 12 month-periods and may be terminated at any time upon written notification by either party. In exchange for the market-making services to be provided by VLP, Caribou Copper will pay a monthly fee of $5,000.00 plus HST.

Prior to founding Cross Davis & Company, Mr. Cross spent eight years working in Chartered Accountant firms including a manager position at Davidson & Company LLP. Mr. Cross also spent six years working in industry which included an Assistant Controller position at Canadian Communication Products. Mr. Cross is a welcome addition to the Company's management team and the Company extends the best to Mr. Gould who plans to focus his attention on other business ventures.
