Carino Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Debuts 2011 Initiatives at Global Conference

9th Annual Conference Presents New Developments for 2011, Leading Industry Experts and "Top CARINO Chefs" at Culinary / Client Event

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 18, 2011) - Member hotels gathered at CARINO Hotels and Resorts Worldwide 9th Annual Sales, Marketing & Reservation Conference held January 17-21 at the Harvard Club of New York City which featured the announcement of new initiatives for 2011 and panel discussions with the industry's top travel agencies, meeting planners and corporate travel leaders. Highlights also included an invitation-only dinner at the renowned James Beard House showcasing the culinary talents of some of CARINO hotels' top chefs from across the nation.

Carino executives outlined a number of new initiatives designed to aid the organization's growth, increase visibility and create additional member services, including:

  • Continuing to grow CARINO's current business model -- urban four- and five-star hotels along with corporate transient and group travel clientele -- and expansion to include leisure distribution/destination membership segment;
  • Augmenting CARINO's infrastructure to substantiate new market growth;
  • CARINO offices in South America & Central Europe.

CARINO Hotels and Resorts Worldwide experienced a year of strong, organic membership growth in 2010 and will continue to build on that momentum with these new programs in an effort to focus on the company's core business, provide value and increase revenues to member hotels, and increase the organization's collective presence in the global marketplace. 

Highlights of this year's conference included travel agency panel experts from ABC Global Services, CCRA Travel Solutions and Hickory Travel Systems; and breakout sessions with one-on-one meetings with member hotels to discuss new opportunities for 2011.
