Carl Awarded Sixth Contract Within Western Washington for Its FlowWorks Application

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 14, 2016) - Carl Data Solutions Inc. (CSE:CRL)(FRANKFURT:7C5) ("Carl" or the "Company"), a developer of Big-Data-as-a-Service ("BDaaS")-based solutions for data integration and business intelligence, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, FlowWorks Inc., has been awarded its sixth contract within Western Washington for Carl's FlowWorks application ("FlowWorks"). The city can now integrate FlowWorks into its storm and wastewater management strategies throughout 2016. The name of the city has not been made public at the time of this release.

Western Washington is a region housing the state's largest city, Seattle, and the majority of the state's residents. Existing contracts within this region for FlowWorks include cities within King County, Clallam County, Whatcom County, Snohomish County and Pierce County. These cities serve the wastewater removal and treatment needs of nearly two-million residences. These open-ended contracts date back as far as 2010 and have grown to a total of 294 data collection sites throughout Western Washington.

FlowWorks is a powerful Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS")-based application for collecting, monitoring and analyzing environmental data. The Event Finder analysis tool (the "Tool") is highly utilized among Western Washington cities. This Tool allows users to effortlessly scan their data to identify important weather related events such as a sewer overflow, which could contaminate or flood local waterways and pose a serious threat to wildlife, residences and infrastructure.

FlowWorks' users can set alarms to directly notify their city departments when a sewer pipe is reaching capacity so they may make take necessary precautions and use that information to plan for future events.
