Carl Guardino to Moderate "What's Next?" Panel at CSCMP Dinner Event Wednesday

Senior Execs From Google, Better Place, Adobe, eSilicon, Bio-Rad to Report on Last Year Predictions and Look Forward

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - November 16, 2010) - The San Francisco Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP SFRT) has expanded available space for its wildly popular 'Supply Chain Predictions' event taking place tomorrow night at the Computer History Museum in Mountainview, CA.

Carl Guardino, named one of the "Five Most Powerful" people in Silicon Valley, will again moderate the panel of supply chain leaders as they defend last year's predictions and look forward to the coming year. Guardino is President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG), the trade association which represents more than 300 of Silicon Valley's most respected companies, was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California Transportation Commission and hosts the popular 'CEO Show' on talk radio.

Featured panelists represent some of the world's most respected companies:

  • Mark Buck, Global Supply Chain & Procurement, BioRad
  • Lisa Bugajski, Sr. Director Supply Chain Operations, Adobe
  • Hugh Durdan, COO, eSilicon Corporation
  • Jim Miller, VP Worldwide Operations, Google
  • Greg Stein, VP Supply Chain, BetterPlace

"Carl's dynamic style and the caliber of companies and executives involved make this event that exceptional experience for which our CSCMP San Francisco Roundtable is recognized. E&J Gallo Wines is contributing wine for the 6pm reception sponsored this year by UTI, and we're excited to introduce our newest full year sponsor: NRW Invest (North America) joins returning founder-sponsors ModusLink Global Solutions, Mainfreight San Francisco and ALOM as full year sponsors of our Roundtable. The generous contributions of these companies enable us to host events as worthwhile as this, for only $65 for members and $25 for students," said Michele Carroll, president CSCMP SFRT. ($75 dinner price for non-members and $95 at-the-door; advance registration is advised!)
