NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 23, 2015) - She has performed with legends, including Three Tenors icon Jose Carreras and 16-time Grammy winner David Foster.
Now British mezzo soprano Carly Paoli is coming to America, playing two shows in New York and Boston.
Miss Paoli will perform at New York's world-renowned Carnegie Hall on October 27 and Boston's prestigious Jordan Hall on October 31, supported by the Korean Chamber Orchestra, who are currently on their 50th anniversary world tour.
The 26 year-old singer performs thanks to EMMA for PEACE -- the Euro-Mediterranean Music Academy, a not-for-profit global umbrella organization for music diplomacy and education, founded by Paolo Petrocelli.
Miss Paoli, who is fluent in Italian and has been dubbed "The English Rose with Italian Roots" in her native UK, said, "I am delighted to be back in the US and to celebrate the valuable work of EMMA for PEACE. I am also excited to be joining the Korean Chamber Orchestra at two of the country's most historic and highly prestigious venues in their 50th anniversary year."
The concert will also celebrate the 70th anniversary of world heritage organization, UNESCO.
As part of this celebration Miss Paoli will be joined by UNESCO Artists for Peace Ino Mirkovic and Milton Masciadri, as well as South Korean violinist Soyoung Yoon.
The event will be followed by a second date at The New England Conservatory at Boston's Jordan Hall on October 31.
Miss Paoli's appearance comes after her sell-out performance at Terme di Caracalla in Rome in July, where she performed duets with Three Tenors legend Jose Carreras and global tenor, Andrea Bocelli.
Since making her international debut in 2014, Carly Paoli has emerged as one of the world's moist talented artists, performing at a strong of high-profile events.
In June 2014 the star performed a private show for Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, at Windsor Castle.
That was followed by The Fight Night Gala in Florence where Carly was given a standing ovation following her performance with Andrea Bocelli and conductor Zubin Mehta at the event, which raised $12.5 million for charity.
Miss Paoli has also been awarded a UNICEF testimonial for her work with children.
She is currently recording her debut album with producer Romana Musumarra, to include songs written by Grant Black, son of James Bond-theme songwriter and Oscar-winning lyricist Don Black.
Miss Paoli's live performances will be a part of the 50th anniversary world tour o the Korean Chamber Orchestra.
The orchestra was founded in 1965 in Seoul by cellist Bong-Cho Jeon and has established itself to b ethe leading chamber orchestra in the country over the past half century.
