LONDON, ENGLAND--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 17, 2005) - Pop music legend Carly Simon will perform two filmed concerts onboard Cunard Line's flagship Queen Mary 2, the largest, longest, tallest, widest and most expensive ocean liner ever, during the transatlantic crossing leaving New York for Southampton on 2 September. The singer's Queen Mary 2 concert performances will be recorded for an forthcoming one-hour television special on the American network PBS which will be broadcast in December. Her Queen Mary 2 performances will form the core of the artist's live PBS television special.

Carly Simon will perform a selection of her most-loved songs as well as tunes from her latest best-selling album, Moonlight Serenade, a breath-taking collection of romantic standards. The concerts during the six-day transatlantic voyage will take place in the ship's Queens Room, the largest ballroom at sea.
