Carolco Pictures High Five Entertainment to Produce 8th Annual T.J. Martell Honors Gala

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 25, 2016) - Carolco Pictures, Inc. (OTCQB: CRCO) is pleased to announce today that its majority owned subsidiary, High Five Entertainment, was chosen to produce T.J. Martell Foundation's 8th annual Nashville Honors Gala on Monday February 29th, 2016 for the third consecutive year.

A number of legendary performers are slated to perform in Music City's biggest fundraising event. Charles Esten, best known for his role as Deacon Claybourne on ABC's Nashville, is returning to host the gala, and Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Chris Young, Ronnie Milsap, Charles Esten and Ruby Wilson are set to perform at the event. Country icon Kenny Rogers will be among the evening's honorees. Kenny Rogers will be presented with the Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award. Also being celebrated at the 2016 event are Nashville's own Aubrey Harwell (Spirit of Nashville Award), CMT's Brian Philips (Frances Preston Outstanding Music Industry Achievement Award) Jennifer Pietenpol, Ph.D., (Medical Research Advancement Award), along with the FedEx Corporation (Outstanding Global Citizenship Award).

The T.J. Martell Foundation was founded to assist in funding research to help fight leukemia, cancer, and AIDS at hospitals across the U.S., including the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Music City. The Honors Gala is one of the foundation's biggest events, having raised over $3.5 million for the cause since 2009.
