Caroline Steiner Joins Genuine From DigitasLBi as Creative Director

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Feb 9, 2016) - Genuine, a full-service, digital-first agency, today announced the addition of Caroline Steiner as its latest Creative Director. Most recently with DigitasLBi, she marks the second senior-level creative hire in the last three months, joining new SVP Creative Director Stephen Potter, formerly of MMB and Arnold Worldwide. Together, they'll work with Genuine's clients to create memorable experiences that positively impact people's connected lives.

"It's an exciting time at Genuine," said Chris Pape, the agency's Founder and Executive Creative Director. "We're adding tremendous new strength to our talent base with the addition of proven creative powerhouses like Stephen and Caroline. Add to that a host of new, category-leading clients who are partnering with us to create exceptional brand experiences. Caroline's expertise across multiple channels and disciplines positions her well to contribute to our human-centric approach."

Caroline Steiner is an award-winning writer, strategist and marketer who has created digital experiences, integrated campaigns and large-scale communication programs for clients such as Bank of America, Liberty Mutual and The Boston Globe. Before joining Genuine, Steiner spent eight years at DigitasLBi as a writer and Associate Creative Director, working with General Motors, OnStar and Harley Davidson, among other clients. Recent awards include a Cannes Lion for her work on the "AIDS-Free Generation" campaign with (RED) and Bank of America, which generated more than a million iTunes downloads in an hour and millions of dollars for the cause. Steiner began her career in San Francisco with such firms as Circle/Euro RSCG, Wunderman, and Burson-Marsteller.

"I like the way Genuine does things. It's an interesting mix of new-school digital thinking and old-school pride in craftsmanship," said Steiner. "They're creating experiences and ideas that go beyond a single channel to benefit people as well as brands -- whether that benefit is information, entertainment, or product. That's what modern marketing is supposed to be about. I'm in."

Steiner lives in Newton, Mass. with her two children and is a graduate of the writing program at the University of California at Irvine.
