Carolyn Crandall of Attivo Networks Recognized as a CRN 2016 Women of the Channel

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwired - May 17, 2016) -  Attivo Networks®, the award-winning leader in deception for cyber security threat detection, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Chief Marketing Officer, Carolyn Crandall to its prestigious 2016 Women of the Channel list. The women executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Crandall joined Attivo Networks in 2015 with the vision of modernizing the approach to cybersecurity infrastructure with a focus on the real-time detection of threats that have successfully bypassed an organization's prevention systems. Taking a channel-centric go-to-market approach to achieving this goal, Crandall developed the framework for the company's channel program, partner profitability models, and joint lead generation programs. Additionally, she has built out the company's integration partner program, which allows partners to provide customers with an adaptive defense solution that is optimized for prevention, detection, incident response, and continuous network protection.

Crandall has been recognized as a Woman of the Channel seven of the 10 years the award has been given. She has also been an advisor to the Association of Strategic Alliances (ASAP) for multiple years, and has had a history of repeated channel success with prior companies Cisco, Juniper, Nimble Storage, and Riverbed.

"It is an honor to have a member of the Attivo Networks leadership team recognized for such a prestigious honor," said Attivo Networks CEO, Tushar Kothari. "We thank CRN for acknowledging Carolyn for her leadership and expertise and for the work she has done to support a rapidly growing partner base and market demand for deception solutions. We applaud Carolyn on this much-deserved recognition."

The 2016 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc2016.
