CaroTrans and MOLAX LINE Team Up in the Transpacific - Enrich Ocean Services Between the U.S. and Northern Asia

Flexible, Comprehensive Service Network Features More Direct Services

CLARK, NJ--(Marketwired - Jan 8, 2014) -  CaroTrans, a leading global NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) and ocean freight consolidator, today announces a new cooperation with MOLAX LINE, the leading independent NVO in South Korea, which will create a stronger, more robust LCL service network in the transpacific trade. With a 26 year history, MOLAX has a well-established network supported by an experienced team of approximately 200 professionals. The CaroTrans-MOLAX alliance will offer secure, local service for import and export cargo moving between the U.S. and Northern Asia. CaroTrans has an extensive North American network of 14 branch offices and 24 CFS (container freight stations). In Busan, MOLAX owns and operates a 380,000 sq. foot warehouse and will have a second warehouse of 360,000 sq. feet completed mid-2014.

The comprehensive CaroTrans-MOLAX service network includes direct export services from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, New York and Charleston to Busan. On-forwarding via Busan further extends coverage to North China, a wide-range of west coast ports in Japan, as well as Vladivostok, Russia.

Their import network consists of an array of direct, weekly services from South Korea to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Seattle and Miami. From these gateways, CaroTrans offers express IPI (interior point intermodal) connections to 70 locations throughout the U.S.

"We are pleased to be partnering with MOLAX LINE a skilled market leader that will deliver the highest level of dependable service and support. Our strong team is focused on customer care and service quality and offers an exceptional range of LCL services to meet the needs of businesses expanding globally," said Greg Howard, global CEO of CaroTrans.

"Our committed partnership will be a winning solution. Together, we'll provide first class transpacific ocean services and resources for our valued customers," said Mr. DH Lee, CEO and Founder, MOLAX LINE.

CaroTrans will continue to grow its transpacific service network by adding direct, expedited LCL/FCL import and export services to serve market demand. January 2013, CaroTrans added a direct, weekly LCL export service from San Francisco to Tokyo, Japan.
