Carsem Receives Supplier Excellence Award From Analog Devices

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 16, 2005 -- Carsem, a leading provider of turnkey packaging and test services to the semiconductor industry, announced that they recently received a 2004 Supplier Excellence Award for the category External Foundry from Analog Devices, Inc. The award is based on an exacting supplier rating program that includes key metrics such as on-time delivery, yield, customer service, quality, competitiveness, responsiveness and technology.

During a ceremony held in Boston on March 9, 2005, the award was presented to David Comley, Carsem's Group Managing Director, by John Hassett, Vice President of Assembly and Test.

It is also important to acknowledge that the Carsem team has been highly responsive to unforecasted needs, both from a production requirement as well as supporting our new product engine," said Hassett.

Mr. Comley stated, "Analog Devices is clearly one of the leaders in our industry, and this is the second year in a row that they recognized Carsem as a key supplier.
