The new solution, combining Cartera's award-winning card-linked offer platform with Billeo's patented context-aware browser technology, will instantly alert consumers browsing the Web to relevant card-linked offers in Web search results and on retailers' Websites. By driving increased consumer adoption of relevant, card-linked offers, Cartera and Billeo's joint solution will help banks and loyalty programs drive incremental revenue and customer engagement, and enable retailers to drive incremental sales and customer loyalty.

How It Works
Cartera and Billeo's joint solution will instantly and seamlessly alert shoppers to available card-linked offers as they are searching and shopping online. Shoppers simply install a browser app from a participating bank, airline or loyalty program. Then, as they shop online, relevant card-linked shopping offers from both online and in-store retailers will be displayed automatically.

For example, if a shopper searches for "TVs" on Google, he may see an offer from his bank to earn $3 cash back for every $100 spent at his favorite online electronics retailer. Alternatively, a local shopper reviewing the menu on the Web site of his local pizza place may see an offer to earn $1 cash back on every $10 spent in store. Online offers are redeemed by clicking the offer and purchasing from the retailer's Website, while in-store offers are redeemed simply by swiping a registered credit card in the retailer's store.

Cartera will deliver the solution as an integrated marketing module available to customers running its card-linked offer platform. The joint product is currently in limited release with select customers.
