Cartera and TransFirst Join Forces to Accelerate Local Business Adoption of Card-Linked Offers

TransFirst to Market Cartera's Industry-Largest Card-Linked Advertising Network to Customer Base of Over 175,000 Local Businesses

TransFirst will market and sell Cartera's card-linked advertising network to over 175,000 small businesses that use its leading payment processing services and technologies. Cartera will deliver full-service card-linked promotional offers -- including marketing, campaign management and reporting -- to TransFirst customers who join its network. With this pioneering agreement, TransFirst and Cartera will join forces to enable thousands of local U.S. merchants to use card-linked offers to acquire new customers, reward repeat shoppers, and align with the nation's top rewards and loyalty programs. Unlike Daily Deals or other local advertising solutions, Cartera card-linked offers deliver merchants risk-free, incremental revenue growth and customer loyalty without up-front costs, paper vouchers, manual tracking or changes to the point of sale.

Cartera will market offers from TransFirst merchants to the tens of millions of local cardholders in its network, who can redeem offers just by swiping their cards in merchants' stores. TransFirst merchants will fund offers only after qualifying transactions occur, and will receive detailed sales reporting including the number of new and repeat transactions driven by their offers.
