Cascadero Copper Announces 2005 Diamond Drilling On Copper Gold Porphyry Prospects

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 30, 2005) - The Company (TSX VENTURE:CCD) has signed drill contracts for a combined total of 7,000 metres of diamond drilling, which comprises the initial drilling program on 6 copper-gold porphyry prospects. The prospects are located in the Toodoggone region in north central British Columbia.

Mobilization to the Companies base camp is underway. Drilling will start on the Pine copper-gold prospect later in June. Other prospects scheduled for drilling are the Tree, Mex, Pine North, Ryan Creek and Pine West. Four of the prospects are new targets and have not been subject to previous drill programs.

Copper and gold mineralization is present in historic drill holes on both the Pine and Tree prospects in both volcanic and intrusive rocks. The prospects will be subject to deeper core drilling as the grade of copper and gold is expected to increase materially at depth.

The prospects are large-scale targets and have been identified by soil and rock geochemistry, airborne and ground geophysics and geological mapping.

Dave Kuran is Cascadero's project manager and is the Qualified Person responsible for the execution of the program.

Stealth Minerals owns 24 million shares of Cascadero Copper or 74% of its equity.
