Cascadia Announces Deep Sulphide Intersection on
Norton Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGE Deposit

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2005) -

Intersections on 300 and 400 meter elevation of 8.2 and 6.0 meters of
Massive Sulphide

Cascadia International Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CJ) ("Cascadia") is
pleased to announce that the drilling of two more holes on section 2+50E
have been completed to test the downward extent of the Norton massive
sulphide deposit and a 8.2 m core length of massive sulphide was cut on
the 300m elevation and a 6.0 m core length was cut on the 400m
elevation. The drill is presently drilling a new section 50 m west on
section 200E to both the 300 and 400 m depth and will then go east 100
metres to section 300E to test the same elevations. The intercepts on
section 2+50E have also cut 3m of pyroxenite with disseminated
chalcopyrite in the hanging wall and chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite in the
foot wall contained in sheared pyroxenite giving the first good exposure
of the rocks hosting the mineralization.

Crone pulse EM downhole surveying is currently underway on these two
holes to look beyond the holes to determine the extent of the sulphide
zone to the east and west as well as below in order to plan deeper
drilling or drilling along strike. Hole 9 will also be resurveyed since
it was extended and cut 10.0 m of massive sulphide to confirm the
earlier survey which suggested the zone extended below. Management is
encouraged that the pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite-pentlandite mineralization
continues to depth giving the opportunity to expand the tonnage of the
deposit up to 5 times of the original calculation from 1981.

Drill core is being logged on site and the zones are being flown out and
delivered to a secure core facility in Thunder Bay for splitting and
submitted to ALS Chemex for assaying. Results will be released when
available.

R.S. Middleton, P.Eng, based in Thunder Bay, Ontario is the qualified
person acting for the companies in regard to the supervision and
planning of the drill holes and quality control.
