Cascadia International Resources Inc.: Drilling Resumes on Norton Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGE Deposit

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - June 28, 2005) - Cascadia International Resources Inc. ("Cascadia") (TSX VENTURE:CJ) is pleased to announce that a drill has been remobilized to the Norton Ni-Cu-Co-PGE project where additional cross sections will be drilled to expand the deposit. Drilling completed in February-March of this year expanded the sulphide zone to the 400m elevation which has quadrupled the size of the deposit where it is open to depth and along strike. Nickel grades appear to be increasing at depth and this phase of drilling could supply enough data to see if the Ni-Cu ratio is changing, which may assist in tracing the actual outline of the zone. Layered sulphide and an increased thickness of sulphide in hole NL05-12 suggest a new setting is starting to develop, which would have greater potential for increased grade and tonnage. Deeper holes beyond the 400m depth will be done this summer once the sections are complete.

New conductors along strike from the deposit will also be tested in addition to another pyroxenite body h t at occurs roughly 175m north of the zone containing disseminated Cu-Ni (chalcopyrite-pyrrhotite-pentlandite). Between 3,400 - 5,000 m will be drilled in approximately 12 holes in June and July. This summer phase of drilling will also set the parameters for an infill set of holes that would allow for the calculation of a resource that meets the standards of NI 43-101.

This project is being supervised by R. Middleton, P.Eng who is the qualified person and responsible for quality control of the assaying and reporting.
