Cascadia International Resources Inc.: Massive
Sulphide Nickel-Copper-PGE-Cobalt Zone Intersected,
NORTON Lake Project-Thunder Bay, Ontario

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 8, 2005) - Cascadia International
Resources Inc. ("Cascadia") (TSX VENTURE:CJ) is pleased to announce Hole
NL 04-9 Ext. has been deepened to test a PEM (pulse EM anomaly) and
intersected massive sulphides from 172 m to 182 m, containing
pyrrhotite, pentlandite (nickel) and chalcopyrite (copper) with the same
proportion and breccia texture type seen elsewhere in the Norton
deposit. This intersection is significant in that it indicates that the
plunge of the deposit is steeper than first thought, and that deeper
sulphides could occur below.

A new pulsed EM survey of the completed hole is scheduled as part of
routine follow-up to determine if the sulphide zone extends to the side
and or below this drill hole. Drilling is continuing on deeper
extensions of the deposit at the 300 and 400m levels followed by pulsed
EM to look beyond these holes.

The core is being logged on site and the main mineralization zones will
be brought out of camp and taken to a secure facility in Thunder Bay for
splitting and re-logging. Samples at 1 m intervals (approximately) will
be prepared at a Chemex facility in Thunder Bay and samples will then be
sent to Chemex Labs in North Vancouver for analysis using aqua-regia
acid digestion followed by ICP analysis for Cu-Ni-Co. Platinum-palladium
and gold will be determined by fire assay extraction on 30 gm samples
followed by ICP analysis.

Robert S. Middleton P.Eng is the qualified person for the Norton Lake
Project and is directing the geophysical and drilling operations from
the Thunder Bay office.
