Casero Digital Media Suite Enables Telecom & Cable Providers to Reclaim Subscribers' Photos, Videos and Music

TORONTO--(CCNMatthews - Mar 21, 2006) -

Designed to give telecom and cable service providers a competitive solution against the growing number of online media storage sites, Casero Inc. is launching its Digital Media Suite to bring operators back into their subscribers' digital lifestyles.

"Growing collections of digital photos, music and video drive the need for online media management where users can store, secure and share their data. The Casero Digital Media Suite satisfies this need and pulls through a number of premium add-on services, like photo-finishing, music download, DVD burning and more," said Gemini Waghmare, Casero's Vice President of Marketing.

Reports this month of Google's GDrive and Amazon.com's S3 offerings highlight an imminent competitive threat facing service providers. Parks Associates estimates that close to ten million U.S. households will have networked storage by 2010.

"New Media firms have clued into the fact that hosting a subscriber's digital media creates online communities and drives revenue growth," added Waghmare.

The Casero Digital Media Suite is an integrated, white-label set of photo, video, music and storage applications that enables telecom and cable providers to host their subscribers' personal digital media.

Casero's management team comes from a history of previous success in the telecommunications industry. Their previous venture, Solect Technology Group was acquired by telecom billing leader Amdocs for US$1.2 billion in April 2000.

The Casero Digital Media Suite will be officially launched at the TelecomNEXT conference in Las Vegas, March 19-23, 2006.
