Casino Data Imaging Granted Patent on New Wayfinding Technology

CDI to Exhibit at the July 14-16 Northwest Indian Gaming Conference & Expo

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2014) - Casino Data Imaging, a leader in advanced visualization and analysis solutions to the casino industry, is pleased to announce the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office recently issued the company patent 8,713,437, which covers the intellectual property behind the concept of interacting landmarks with route guidance.

"This has been an exceptionally gratifying project and watching the iGuide™ program continue to evolve," said CDI spokesman George Levine. "The issuance of this patent and the 19 exclusive claims granted further validates and strengthens the innovative nature of our platform technology and proprietary wayfinding methods."

The premise around iGuide™ is to provide patrons an easy, non-intimidating method to search and locate any game on the casino floor. In addition, the casino can add other venues (i.e. table games, entertainment, restaurants, etc.) to also locate, promote and inform.

"What we observed in analyzing wayfinding programs is often, when the customer leaves the kiosk, they are already lost or disoriented. iGuide's technology includes a unique proven method tying in landmarks to the wayfinding route helping customers find their way," said Levine.
