Cast Iron Systems Wins CRM WizKids Award From Beagle Research

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 1, 2007 -- Cast Iron Systems, the fastest growing integration appliance vendor, today was awarded Beagle Research's CRM WizKids award. The WizKids award honors emerging technology companies that demonstrate new and innovative solutions to business problems encountered in the rapidly changing front office. For this award, Cast Iron demonstrated how its integration appliances helped PGP Corp., a global security-software company, save months of time and manpower when integrating its SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) applications with its packaged and custom-built back-office systems.

"Cast Iron and the other recipients of Beagle Research's third annual WizKids award represent the best of a new breed of technologies that improve companies' abilities to manage their customer relations systems," said Denis Pombriant, managing principal of Beagle Research Group, LLC. "Innovative front-office solutions are more essential than ever as the popularity of SaaS systems grows."

When PGP Corp. implemented three front-office SaaS solutions -- salesforce.com, RightNow and NetSuite -- in 2006, it was clear that it would be too time consuming and costly to create custom code to exchange data between the new and existing applications. The company chose Cast Iron's integration appliance, which enabled IT analysts to configure integrations via a drag-and-drop graphical user interface. Since no coding was necessary, the project was completed in less than 20 days by just one person and that includes 10 days of testing.

"Cast Iron is pleased to accept this award in recognition of the value our integration appliance delivers to businesses," said Ram Gupta, CEO of Cast Iron Systems. "As more companies adopt SaaS applications, we are rapidly becoming the de-facto standard for completing their integration projects quickly."

Cast Iron Systems Integration Appliances enable companies to complete projects in days, instead of months, and easily maintain them using a "configuration, not coding" approach. The company's integration appliances synchronize information between all major applications and endpoints, including SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle, salesforce.com, Sybase, SQL Server, Informix, DB2, flat files (FTP/HTTP), XML and Web services.
