Arxan's Tamper-Resistant Software Security Protects castLabs' Android-Based Video Application for UltraViolet Content


AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - Sep 10, 2012) - IBC 2012 -- Arxan® Technologies, the industry leader of application protection solutions that secure the App Economy, today announced that castLabs, a global provider of pioneering software, technologies and services for digital video broadcasting and streaming systems, has selected Arxan's software protection and anti-tamper solutions to secure its Android-based video player application and software development kit (SDK) that are fully compatible with the UltraViolet common file format (CFF).

castLabs' Android-based video player is the first video player application for the Android platform that integrates with the UltraViolet online digital library, providing consumers an additional level of freedom and flexibility to watch their favorite movies and TV shows, both at home and on the go.
