Peterson will work out of the company's headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Peterson has extensive experience in the financial services industry with 25 years of success in business and public accounting leadership positions, including tenure as a Senior Manager with KPMG in Salt Lake City. Prior to joining Castle & Cooke Mortgage, Peterson worked at American Express, where he most recently served as Vice President and Controller in the Enterprise Growth Business Unit.

As Controller, Peterson will oversee the day-to-day accounting, reporting and finance functions for Castle & Cooke Mortgage and support its strategic financial goals. Reporting to Thorpe, he will also ensure the integrity of the company’s financial statements and that the branch locations are set up to maximize efficiency and profitability.
