Castleworth Receives More Nevada Gold Drilling Results

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 11, 2005) -

Expands New Gold System at Pan; More Drilling Planned This Year

Castleworth Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WTH) announced today that results from the remaining 26 reverse circulation drill holes from the first part of its 2005 drill program at the Pan Project near Eureka, Nevada have been received. A total of 12 of the 26 holes drilled in the Black Stallion area encountered potentially economic intercepts of gold mineralization.

These final holes were targeted on margins of holes open from the early part of the 2005 Program. Two areas, Black Stallion and Syncline, have now been partially delineated and remain open in several areas.

Additional drilling is scheduled in those areas and on targets developed from both an ongoing geochemical sampling program and other exploration techniques.

Significant results from the final 26 holes are as follows:

Holes 05-103 and 05-115 are approximately 300 feet apart with no drilling between them or to the south for 300-500 feet. Significantly, drill hole 05-115 bottomed in 0.03 opt.

A total of 108 shallow to moderate depth holes totaling 16,100 feet (4900 meters) have been completed during the current part of the 2005 Phase I drill program.

The Company has commissioned a drill rig for an additional 6000 feet of drilling footage at the Pan Gold Project prior to year-end.

Michael Gustin P.Geo, of Mine Development Associates, is the company's qualified person on the Pan Gold project. Assays reported were conducted by ALS Chemex (Elko, Nevada) using a fire assay with an AA finish.

Castleworth's objective is to create shareholder value by acquiring, exploring, and developing advanced-stage projects located within the major gold producing areas of Nevada. The Company's total land position is in excess of 10,800 acres, comprised of two projects on the Battle Mountain-Eureka Trend, three projects on the Tonopah/Walker Lane Trend and one on the Carlin Trend. Two of the projects have known mineralization or resources of potentially economic grade and dimension.
