Casual Online Gaming Statistics Yield 'Puzzling' Results

Puzzles Top List of Most Popular Online Games, Followed Closely by Action/Adventure

That unanticipated finding comes from a recent analysis of the most popular casual games played through online media company Zango (http://www.zango.com).

Of the nearly 300 unique casual games available at Zango.com, five of the top 10 most popular are puzzles, three are action/adventures, and two are sports-oriented. Of the top 20, however, action/adventure games reign supreme with seven making the list, followed closely by puzzles (six) and sports (four). The remaining three finding slots between 11 and 20 are trivia and arcade games.
