Catalyst CEO Named Global Technology Leader

John Tredennick Recognized for Innovations in Using Information Technology to Support Litigation

DENVER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 9, 2006 -- Citytech Magazine, a London-based legal technology online magazine, named Catalyst CEO John Tredennick one of the top 100 technology leaders in the world in its inaugural Global Tech Leaders Top 100 Awards. The Citytech Global Tech Leaders list was designed to recognize legal technology leaders who blend "personal dynamism with advanced IT knowledge."

Tredennick was named to the list as "an authoritative voice in the legal tech world," according to the survey. "I am pleased and proud to be included," Tredennick stated. "Many of those who made the list are longtime friends and all of them have made important contributions to the advancement of legal technology. I am sure it was tough for the editors to narrow down the candidates to this short list."

The list was compiled after extensive email and telephone research directed to more than 2,000 global technologists representing the leading law firms, vendors, press and consultants. Each was asked to recommend fellow industry thought leaders as their "most highly respected" choices. Their choices could include anyone providing services to the legal tech industry, whether training, software, hardware, consultancy and those within law firms, whether in a support or legal role that helped shape legal technological progress.

According to the survey, the final selection represented those who received the most nominations based on recommendations from people spanning more than thirty years in the industry. Some of the individuals on the list are "ones to watch" but most were "magic circle," meaning that they come from the top of their profession.

Members from the list are invited to an exclusive reception to present Top 100 list award trophies this coming January in New York City.
