Catapult International Named to 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Central U.S.

LENEXA, KS--(Marketwire - Jun 6, 2012) - Catapult International, a leading-edge provider of international logistics software, was recently recognized as part of the inaugural Flyover 50, an effort by Five Elms Capital to recognize the 50 fastest-growing companies in the middle of the country.

"We created the Flyover 50 to highlight great companies in the middle of the country for potential employees and customers," said Fred Coulson, the managing partner of Five Elms Capital. "Flyover 50 honorees are proof that there are plenty of reasons to land in the central U.S."

Companies had to apply or be nominated to be considered for the Flyover 50, which was determined based on percentage of revenue growth. To qualify for consideration, companies had to be based in a 20-state area in the middle of the country and have revenue of greater than $1 million in 2011. All revenue and growth figures used in Flyover 50 applications were kept confidential.

Catapult International, which was founded in 2007, has grown from 23 employees last year to 40 today, and Catapult CEO Matt Motsick said the company expects to have 50 people on board by year's end. "Everyone asks how we have grown so fast. I attribute it to keeping our IT personnel in the United States and listening to what the client is looking for in a system," notes Motsick.

The list of the Flyover 50 companies can be found at www.flyover50.com.

Earlier this year, Catapult International was named as one of the Top 100 Logistics IT companies worldwide for a second straight year by Inbound Logistics magazine.

The inaugural Flyover 50 honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony at the Association for Corporate Growth's Mid-America Corporate Growth Conference on Thursday, June 7th in Kansas City, Missouri.
