Cathy Vasilev to Speak at NSCP 2016 Spring Conference

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - February 16, 2016) - - Cathy Vasilev, President and co-founder of Red Oak Compliance Solutions, will be a speaker for the 2016 NSCP Spring Conference, to be held in Dallas, Texas, at Haynes and Boone, LLP, on Monday, February 22, 2016. Her topic is "Marketing, Advertising and Brand Preservation." 

In addition to Dallas, The National Society of Compliance Professionals is hosting spring conferences in San Francisco, Toronto, Denver, Chicago and New York City. This conference is designed for compliance professionals of all levels and will focus on a firm's obligations to its clients. There will be discussions on current industry best practices in the area of asset protection and furthering client relationships. 

Vasilev has demonstrated success in the compliance industry for over 25 years, providing leadership and overall direction to investment advisors, broker dealers, hedge funds and insurance companies. Her expertise guides them in efficiency and compliance with industry policies and procedures. She conducts AML audits, branch exams, mock regulatory audits and serves as Chief Compliance Officer for several firms. Cathy has a Masters' of Business Management degree and is a member of National Society of Compliance Professionals, Association of Compliance Professionals and Compliance and AML Professionals. She holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 26, 63 and Life and Health licenses.
