Cato Networks CTO & Co-Founder Gur Shatz to Speak at Infosecurity Europe

Session to focus on the architecture required for a secure hybrid cloud

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL--(Marketwired - May 24, 2017) - Cato Networks, provider of network and security-as-a-service solutions, today announced that its co-founder and CTO Gur Shatz will be speaking at Infosecurity Europe this June. During a session titled Hybrid Cloud Secure Network Integration: Tips and Techniques, Shatz will describe how to create a cohesive hybrid cloud network to an audience of global IT leaders at the London event.

The move to the cloud is splitting data centers across physical and cloud environments, making the job of IT professionals tasked with securely connecting branch offices and mobile users to multiple datacenters increasingly difficult. This session will provide an overview of a typical enterprise architecture that extends beyond the traditional on-premises architecture to include cloud infrastructure, applications and mobile users.

"It's an honor to be selected to speak at this major industry event, and I am excited to have the opportunity to share insights into how I've seen the networking and security environment evolve with the massive shift to the cloud," says Shatz. "At Cato, we are focused on helping organizations of all sizes make this transition as simple and risk-free as possible."

Session attendees can expect to learn the following during the session:

1. The challenges involved in securing and connecting a hybrid data center environment
2. How to address all network stakeholders, including physical locations and mobile users
3. The tools and capabilities available to build and secure a hybrid cloud datacenter
4. The pros and cons of the various technologies and the resulting network topologies
5. Best practices and lessons learned from creating a real life architecture to extend enterprise WAN to the cloud

As CTO of Cato Networks, Gur Shatz has been instrumental in building the company's Cato Cloud solution, which seamlessly connects all enterprise network elements, including branch locations, mobile users and physical and cloud datacenters, into a secure, encrypted and optimized global cloud network. In addition to this cloud network, Cato offers security services that protect the traffic at all times and further simplifies the steps it takes for enterprises to create an efficient and secure cloud network.

Gur Shatz's presentation will take place on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 12:40 pm GMT, during the Infosecurity Europe conference in London, UK. More information about the event can be found here.
