Cause for Paws

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 11, 2010) - Animal activist and advocate Robert Misseri has launched, an organization created to facilitate the formation of alliances within the animal rescue and animal welfare communities.

Misseri, one of the founding members of Rescue Ink, has resigned as President of Rescue Ink, and divested himself of all interests in their media, publishing and other ventures.

"Robert's Cause is about using the power of numbers of like-minded people, to really achieve change," said Misseri. "It's about working within the system to change laws and attitudes about animal welfare, it's about education, and it's about working together in the field to providing for animals in need."

In addition to its work with numerous animal rights and rescue organizations throughout the U.S., Robert's Cause is reaching out to elected and appointed public officials, as well as current and retired law enforcement professionals, with the goal of creating new entities with which to ally, so a collective influence can grow in power and scope in the interest of animals.

Robert Misseri solely funds Robert's Cause, and neither solicits or accepts donations of money for it.

Robert's Cause can be found on the Internet at, and on Facebook as the group Robert's Cause.
