Caza Oil & Gas, Inc.: Puku Property-Oil & Gas Discovery

HOUSTON, TEXAS--(Marketwire - July 9, 2008) - Caza Oil & Gas, Inc. ("Caza" or the "Company") (TSX:CAZ)(AIM:CAZA) is pleased to announce that it has completed the exploratory well on its Puku Property located in Wharton County, Texas, and that sales gas from the well is now being delivered into a local gas gathering facility.

Puku Property - Located in Wharton County, Texas, the Andel #2201 well, as previously announced, reached a total depth of 6,310 feet and was perforated in the Frio formation. The Andel well is currently producing 404 thousand cubic feet of natural gas per day (at 1,860 psi on a 7/64" choke).

Caza is the operator and following the completion of this well now has a 35.6% working interest and a corresponding 27.1% net revenue interest.
