CCCIC, APF Canada Announce Canada-China Investment Summit 2012


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 2, 2012) - The Canada China Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCCIC) and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) announced details of the upcoming Canada-China Investment Summit 2012 to be hosted in Vancouver, BC on October 8-9, 2012.

This Summit, co-organized by CCCIC and APF Canada and hosted by the Dawa Business Group of Canada and Canada Jiazhong Investment Development Foundation, was formally launched at a press conference held at the Sheraton Hotel in Richmond, BC.

The event will bring together private sector leaders from China and Canada, as well as policymakers to provide timely information on the investment environment in Canada, with a special focus on Western provinces. The summit is targeted to help private sector businesses from China better understand the context of investing in Canada. It will offer networking opportunities for Chinese investments to meet with potential Canadian partners to explore business opportunities in Canada.

The main program, open to the public, on Tuesday, October 9 is as follows:

  • Investment Exhibition, 10:00am - 5:00pm, Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building
  • Business Forum, 12:00noon - 5:45pm, Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building
    (Keynote speaker: Honourable Christy Clark, Premier of British Columbia)
