CCL Industries Announces 2016 Annual and Special Meeting Results


TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - May 09, 2016) - CCL Industries Inc. (TSX: CCL.A) (TSX: CCL.B) ("CCL"), a world leader in specialty label and packaging solutions for global corporations, small businesses and consumers, announced voting results from its 2016 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held May 5, 2016. A total of 2,246,029 Class A voting shares representing 94.87% of the Company's issued and outstanding Class A voting shares, were voted in connection with the Annual and Special Shareholders' Meeting (the "Meeting") held on May 5, 2016. All matters put forth at the Meeting, including the election of nine (9) directors, the appointment of auditors and authorization of the directors to fix the remuneration of such auditors, the Amended and Restated Deferred Share Unit Plan (the "Plan") for non-employee directors of the Company, the reservation of 110,000 Class B non-voting shares from treasury under the Plan and the ratification of 85,883 DSUs previously granted and currently outstanding under the Plan were approved as detailed in the Company's filing on www.sedar.com.
