CCL Industries Announces Organization Changes

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2007) -

CCL Industries Inc. (TSX:CCL.A)(TSX:CCL.B), a world leader in specialty packaging and labelling solutions for the consumer products and healthcare industries, announced today that after 30 years of service with the Company, Steve Lancaster has announced that he will be retiring as Chief Financial Officer on January 14, 2008, but will continue as Executive Vice President and assist CCL Industries on a number of special projects on a part-time basis through to the end of 2008.

The Company also announced that John Doolittle will be joining CCL as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective January 15, 2008. Mr. Doolittle has extensive global financial experience in tax, treasury, public accounting and the banking industry. His most recent position with Nortel Networks is Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis. Previous to this, Mr. Doolittle was the Vice President, Tax and the Vice President and Assistant Treasurer.
