CCNMatthews Teams with CNQ to Offer CNQ Listed Companies Special Disclosure Packages

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 24, 2005) - CCNMatthews, Canada's leading distributor of news releases for public companies and CNQ, Canada's New Stock Exchange, are pleased to announce a new marketing partnership to provide CNQ listed companies with specially priced packages to assist with their disclosure requirements.

From its inception in 2003, CNQ has stressed the importance of disclosure in gaining investor interest and confidence. This new agreement with CCNMatthews will not only allow CNQ listed companies to effectively reach all interested stakeholders with news of their material developments, but it will also allow them to package their news distribution with other essential disclosure tools such as:

- SEDAR filing of securities documents

- Automatic updates of the news page on their web sites

- Sending photographs and other multi-media material to enhance the effectiveness of their communication efforts

Robert Cook, CNQ's CEO, commented "What CCNMatthews is offering our listed companies is several ways to very effectively get their message out to the investment community - all at very affordable rates". CNQ continues to grow strongly with 48 listings and participation from investment dealers across the country. The average financing in 2005 to date has been $2.0 million and the average market capitalization is now approximately $7.25 million. These results are a testament to the acceptance in Canada's financial marketplace of its newest and only independent stock exchange.

"We are delighted to be able to offer CNQ listed companies these special disclosure services," said Michael Nowlan, CCNMatthews' CEO. "One of our core business objectives since our founding in 1983 has been to assist small to medium sized companies with their disclosure needs, so this agreement with CNQ is a continuation of that commitment," Nowlan added.

CNQ commenced operations in July 2003 and became recognized by the Ontario Securities Commission as a full-fledged stock exchange in May 2004. CNQ's innovative market is designed to address the needs of emerging companies and their investors by providing a transparent, electronic trading system and enhanced company disclosure on To find out more about CNQ please visit
