CD2 Learning Announces Addition of Two Key Positions

Fast Growing Software Company Strengthens Resources

OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - October 12, 2015) - CD2 Learning names Chris Horsefield as V.P. of Mobile Applications, overseeing mobile strategies. Horsefield brings over 15 years of experience in the field of information technology. He has a diverse background in both start up and corporate settings, with extensive experience in research, development, and enterprise computing, as well as in assessment/learning platforms.

Prior to CD2, Chris headed up the technology leading to the award-winning success of Front Flip's Customer Engagement Platform. He led a development team in accelerating mobile and web innovation. His background includes senior level positions as Systems Officer and V.P. of Information Technology for ResMAE, a Citadel Investment company. He was also IT Director at Ascend Learning, a Providence Equity Company, and IT Director at NovaStar Financial.

A native of Cuba, Missouri, Chris is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City, with a degree in Computer Science. His favorite pastime is spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their four year old son, Mason.

Applying his skill set to benefit the community, Chris has been involved in providing technological solutions for not-for-profit agencies, like Operation Breakthrough. These solutions reduced paperwork and allowed for more time focused on patient/client outcomes.

CD2 Learning announces that Michael Richards, Sr. Software Engineer, has joined the firm. Richards previously held programming and software engineering positions at Vin Solutions and E-Screen. His background includes both operations and technology experience.

Richards says, "I had been looking for a position in a growing firm. In larger organizations you lose the fast-moving, problem solving energy. CD2 has that entrepreneurial atmosphere and team approach to providing solutions. For me, that's the pleasure in programming; speaking with clients, understanding their pain points, and designing the answers."

Rich Bartlett, C.E.O., says, "Kansas City has a growing number of technology and software firms. Michael "Mike" is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Operations Management. He has an additional degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in Software.

Mike and his wife are the parents of ten-year old twin girls and spare time is rare. However, as an avid DIY enthusiast, he always has half a dozen projects going around the home, equating renovation to programming problem solving. He also participates in the martial arts (enjoying the mastery) and is a collector of vintage Vegas memorabilia.
