Ceapro Inc. appoints VP Business Development

EDMONTON, May 31 - Ceapro Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CZO) ("Ceapro" or the
"Corporation") today announced the appointment of Ian W. Cottrell, Ph.D as
Vice President Business Development.

Ian Cottrell is an experienced executive with extensive business acumen
and technological expertise, having worked with both established and
entrepreneurial profit centers spanning North America, Europe and the Pacific
Rim. He has experience in establishing and aligning business, marketing and
technology strategies, and a record of developing revenues and cost savings
from new product and process development. His expertise is based on over 30
years' experience in specialty chemical, biotechnology and consumer products.

Most recently, Ian Cottrell was responsible for the development of
specialty pet products for the Animal Health and Grooming categories at The
Hartz Mountain Corporation. Dr Cottrell received his Ph.D. in organic
chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
